7 Spots To Celebrate National Happy Hour Day At In L.A.

The words “happy” and “hour” have been together for decades. Tuesday, Nov. 12 is National Happy Hour and Los Angeles has no shortage of bars looking to welcome eager imbibers looking to blow off some after-work steam. Check out seven spots to celebrate the “holiday” this week, as if we needed an excuse.

The Crack Shack

The Crack Shack thinks outside the coop when it comes to happy hour from its cocktails to its shareable bites. Located at Westfield Century City,, this gourmet fried chicken concept celebrates the social hour 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with crack snacks like fried pickles, chicken lollipops and spicy biscuit sliders, $3 off beer and wine and $4 off specialty cocktails including the “Caddyshack,” a drink in honor of the space “Back Nine” mini-golf area.

Jaffa Palms

The Westside outpost of Jaffa, known for its rich Israeli menu and laid back atmosphere, hosts happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Drink specials include $4 Mystery shots (roll the dice on rotating spirits), $5 beer, including a Jaffa Blonde and $6 house white, red and bubbles. You can also try one of their signature cocktails for $6 including the Gentleman Jaffa with fig-infused whisky, Arak and bitters, the Metro Goldwyn with vodka, lemon and crème de cassis, the Grapefruit Collins with Campari, grapefruit soda and vermouth and the Cardamom Margarita with tequila, curacao and salt. For martini lovers, head over to MiniBar, the retro-inspired cocktail spot located on the ground floor of the Best Western Hollywood Hills. The bar is hosting “Martini Hour” with $5 martinis in miniature glasses alongside $5 glasses of Cava.
