A whole new way to celebrate Friendsgiving!
Geraldine’s, the fourth-floor restaurant at Hotel Van Zandt in Austin, Texas, recently debuted a “Friends”-inspired cocktail menu to celebrate the sitcom’s 25th anniversary. Available now through Nov. 30, the themed cocktails are inspired by the iconic 90s characters in their names and ingredients.
The menu consists of six specially formulated drinks, one for each friend and $1 from each cocktail purchased will be donated to No Kid Hunger which strives to end child hunger in America. Check out each drink below.
We Were on a Break
Named after TV’s most famous breakup quote, Ross’s drink is made with Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon, lemon, simple syrup and red wine float.
Traditional English Trifle
Inspired by Rachel’s failed Thanksgiving dessert, this LOL-worthy cocktail is made with Cranberry-infused Botanist Gin, mascarpone, honeysuckle liqueur and lemon.
Ms. Chandler Bong
A nod to Chandler’s mixed up TV Guide addressing, his drink is made with Wild Turkey 101 Rye, cardamaro, housemade ginger-citrus bitters and is served in a smoked vessel, referring to his smoking habit.
Seven-Monica
Referencing the number of female erogenous zones Monica proudly knew, this sultry cocktail is made with Siete Leguas Blanco Tequila, Cointreau and lime
Princess Consuela Bananahammock
Phoebe’s signature sipper, that references the eccentric character she once legally gave herself, is playfully made with Jagermeister, Giffard Banana, pineapple, coconut and lime.
Dr. Drink Ramoray
A salute to Joey’s “Days Of Lives” character, his drink is made with Treaty Oak Red Handed Bourbon, Meletti and Dr. Pepper.
