Blue Suede Shoes at Sen Sakana

It’s a widely known fact that Elvis Presley loved peanut butter and banana sandwiches. And this delicious combination is now available in a glass at Sen Sakana. The Blue Suede Shoes cocktail – an homage to the King of Rock and Roll’s hit song – mixes peanut butter-washed bourbon with banana liqueur and puree along with chocolate bitters for an irresistible treat in a glass.

“The inspiration came from Elvis because his favorite sandwiches were peanut butter and banana,” explains Beverage Director Zachary Gross. “By fat washing the bourbon, it enables the spirit to take on the flavor of the peanut butter, without it becoming thick. What came out was, in my opinion, a delicious, boozy, homage to the King of Rock N Roll!!!”
