Breaking News – Professor Thom’s Boycotts Belgian Beer in Support of U.S. National Soccer Team

Go Team USA!  It is with huge pride that the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team has stolen the hearts of Americans from coast to coast. Today we anticipate lots of New Yorker’s having “doctor’s appointments” late in the afternoon for the 4PM match against Belgium.  New York has been extremely rabid in World Cup action and although we are a melting pot, there is no denying that NYC is Team USA all the way.

In a show of patriotic support, the East Village bar, Professor Thom’s announced via twitter this morning that they will NOT be pouring Belgian beer Stella Artois. Professor Thom’s we salute you and we certainly will be loyally sticking to American beer today for our boys in Red, White & Blue!  We believe we will win!  Risk Everything! Make us proud Team USA!
