Camden Cocktail Lounge Comes to Las Vegas, With Crafty Cocktails and Tableside Mixology

More exciting things are coming to Vegas, this time at Palms Casino Resort, one of the city’s OG nightlife spots: APEX Social Club and Camden Cocktail Lounge are opening next month in the spaces formerly occupied by beloved nightclub Ghostbar on the 55th floor of the hotel. While APEX will be a massive 8,000-square foot open-air nightclub – featuring a 180-degree of the city with all the bells and whistles that you expect from a top Las Vegas club – Camden Cocktail Lounge will be the chill sidekick.

Reimagined as a craft cocktail spot by Las Vegas nightlife visionary Andy Masi along with nightlife partners Ryan Labbe and Jason Craig, Camden Cocktail Lounge will surely up the ante on the mixology scene in this notoriously raucous town with longtime hospitality veteran Eric Hobbie – dubbed the Corporate Intoxicologist -heading up the beverage program.

“Camden is a place where we want you to have a sensory experience,” Hobbie tells thirsty. “We will offer cocktails that utilize touch and smell like most people have never seen before. Our cocktails create settings and moods through presentation and taste.”

The cocktail menu is extensive and creative, including drinks made with a variety of liquors and special ingredients, and a section of tipples prepared tableside. Being that this is Vegas, there is a bottle service section, natch, but the libations are bot to be missed.

Some of Camden’s standouts include the Green Goblin, a blend of rum, lime, sugar, and herb blend; the Matcha Maker with tequila, agave, lemon, mint and matcha powder and  Lost in the Forest with gin, yellow chartreuse, Meyer lemon juice, green pine cone syrup and rosemary air which Hobbie describes as “a cocktail that will make you feel as if you are walking through the forest with fresh moss for you to feel and pine incense burning as you imbibe.”

Camden, Hobbie continues, “is not just another alternative for cocktails in Vegas.”

“We are the new standard for sensory libations,” he says. “I want guests to leave with the experience constantly on their mind. I want them to have to talk about us and what we are doing.”

The countdown to this new Vegas experience is on.
