Célon Opens at Bryant Park Hotel With Hangover-Free Cocktail

Bryant Park Hotel has given a facelift to its subterranean space which has reopened at Célon. After a multimillion-dollar renovation, Célon has taken over the space long-occupied by Cellar Bar complete with revamped decor and cocktail menu – and a fresh Moroccan vibe.

The new design evokes vibes of Morocco, with tile archways and Marrakesh-style pendants throughout, along with fair trade rugs and Kilim pillows sourced from a women’s cooperative in the Atlas Mountains.

But we are all about the drinks, and the new ones at Célon certainly don’t disappoint.

There’s the Casa Blanca with blanco tequila, mezcal and pineapple and the Lavender Oasis, made with vodka and lavender syrup. Delish.

Be sure to check out the Activated Charcoal Martini, a tipple that turns black right before your eyes. The charcoal is activated from impurities in the booze, and is even said to help prevent a hangover.

Drink up, guilt-free!

Feeling hungry? Try the light bites including Hummus, Baba Ghannouj and Marcona almonds salted and fried “to perfection.”
Welcome to your new Morrocan oasis in the heart of Midtown.
