French Cocktail Lounge La Fête Opens In West Hollywood

Treś chic! La Fête is the new French-inspired cocktail lounge that has West Hollywood buzzing. From owner Rohan Talwar, this charming bar is actually an extension of the uber-popular restaurant Norah which opened in 2016.

Once used as Norah’s private dining room, the low lit space, designed by Thomas Schoos, now features a herringbone wood floor, art-adorned walls, a dramatic black marble bar and is decorated with plush couches, black and white wall art, long stem candles, red roses and hanging greenery.

Behind the bar, you’ll find the creations of bar director Dave Kupchinsky, who has previously worked with Freehand, Otium and Eveleigh. Perfect for summer, the La Rosé Fraise is made with rosé, Pisco, homemade strawberry balsamic cordial, and fresh lemon. The  La Spritz, created with Lillet Rose, homemade rhubarb-sage gastrique, Fever Tree tonic and Cava. The La Daiq includes Calvados from Normandy, the herbaceous Genepy des Alpes, homemade triple lime cordial and fresh lime. The Le Julep is created with Dolin Dry Vermouth, cherry eau de vie, raspberry-thyme cordial, Saber’s aperitif and versus.

There are also more classic cocktails on the menu but with a French twist. For example, the La Side Piece, with cognac, Cointreau, and lemon verbena is a fun take on a Sidecar.
