It is lavender season and we love seeing the sweetly fragrant flower popping up on drink and food menus. In honor of this intoxicating purple bloom, our Drink of the Week is the Lavender at Dante in Greenwich Village.
Created by Naren Young, he shares, “I love using lavender in drinks because it’s so floral and elegant but you have to be very careful and use a steady hand because a drink can easily start to smell like soap when used too liberally. This has several different layers of flavor and aroma coming through from various different applications of the lavender.”
