For National Rum Day on August 16th, Miami will celebrate this treasured spirit with the 3rd annual “National Rum Day Fest.” The festivities will take place at The Confidante Miami Beach and guests will be treated to live music, cigar roller, games cocktails and, of course, copious rum tastings. 6:00pm-9:00pm. VIP access starts at 5pm. Come explore new rums from local Florida brands to the Caribbean in a Rum Oasis as we take over the Backyard at The Confidante.

Two power-house veterans in the industry with over 20 years’ experience combined in the liquor and rum categories have joined forces to create an exciting and educational rum event for rum enthusiasts and the local community. Sarah Sebastian, Founder and Rebecca Quinonez, Partnership Director are the two rum loving women behind the festival, both own private consulting agencies within the event and spirit worlds. Some of the notable bar personalities you can expect to see at National Rum Day Fest 2019 are Julio Cabrera of Cafe La Trova, , aka Best American Bartender at the 2019 Spirited Awards and Danilo Bozovic bringing the return of the Swizzle Bar team who will be a pop-up bar before their big opening.
