New Seasonal Cocktails by Ivy Mix at Miami Beach’s Matador Bar

Matador Bar, at The Miami Beach EDITION, recently revealed a newly imagined seasonal cocktail menu created by mixologist Ivy Mix, who took inspiration from the bar’s Spanish bullfighter motif.  Co-owner and Head Bartender of Leyenda, her pan-Latin cocktail bar in Brooklyn, Ivy’s collaboration with Matador Bar marks her first foray into Miami’s distinct bar scene.

Ivy has been recognized by many within the food and beverage industry as being one of the best bartenders in the country, winning prestigious awards including, American Bartender of the Year at Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards in 2015 and Mixologist of the Year by Wine Enthusiast in 2016.

Zorte On!

Rich and intense; stirred with Elyx Vodka, Campari, Pacharan Zoco (aka Patxaran, a sweet liqueur from Spain’s Basque region), Martini Bianco, and Gifford Pamplemousse.

Dos Orejas

A most delish take on a French 75 champagne cocktail; made with St. George Raspberry Brandy, Tanqueray Gin, Moet & Chandon Brut Champagne, coconut water and lemon, garnished with a raspberry and a mist of Absinthe.

Tierra Colada

A uniquely blended and savory Piña Colada; shaken with Leblon Cachaca, Fernet Vallet Liqueur, fresh Carrot Juice, Vanilla, Lime, Coconut and Nutmeg.
