Another reason to head to Greenwich Village: Bar Moga is open for business, on the corner of Houston and Sullivan St. from Becky McFalls-Schwartz and Chef Takanori of SakaMai.

And this place comes with some serious cocktail cred: McFalls-Schwartz was a long-time protégé of the late Sasha Petraske and developed the cocktail program that features Japanese-inspired cocktails. The venue is based, and named, on a moga: a “modern girl” that emerged in early 20th-century Japan (think roaring twenties Flappers), the Mogas defied norms while embracing a liberal, debaucherous lifestyle.

Yes, please.
