Scofflaw Chicago is a gin-focused cocktail bar in Logan Square -dubbed as one of nation’s coolest neighborhoods. A rebellious mix of the baroque and affordable, Scofflaw brings together a diverse array of drinkers for beautifully crafted cocktails, craft beer and small plates that go well beyond ‘bar food’. Whether enjoying dinner and cocktails in the Victorian-style salon, grabbing a barstool for a shot and a beer or brunching on the patio, you’ll be treated to warm service and a familiar fun vibe—not to mention fresh baked cookies at midnight.
“One of my favorite finds at the local pan-Asian-market was a Japanese sports drink called Pocari Sweat – a lighter, saltier, grapefruit version of Gatorade, ” shares Scofflaw’s bartender, Davis Sayvage. “When I first tried West 32 Soju the light floral and citrus notes immediately made me think of Pocari Sweat. With this drink, I wanted to make a light “Patio Crusher” that left you feeling as refreshed as drinking a sports drink.”
