Smallman Galley, located in Pittsburgh’s revitalized Strip District, is a restaurant, full bar and coffee bar housed in a 6,000-square foot historical space. The concept for Smallman Galley was envisioned at sea by two U.S. Navy Lieutenants, who experienced grand food halls by traveling the world.
Super creative menu themes and packaging are a staple of Smallman’s beverage program. Now, the bar has a recently launched cocktail menu that explores “flashback flavors,” along with Twister boards – with actual spinners – on communal tables, an example of their dedication to nostalgic fun.
Tim Garso, who manages the bar program, had this to say about the new menu: “The hook for this menu is flavors and themes reminiscent of younger years. So be it Froot Loops with cartoons on a Saturday morning in your PJs, or when you discovered curry in college freshman year, or all night computer game sessions with pizza rolls and Mt. Dew, these flavors will take you back, and what better way to look back then through an old-school viewfinder”

Saturday Morning Toons
Truly tastes like Froot Loops; Boxer Gin, Momokawa Coconut-Lemongrass Sake, Peychaud’s Bitters; served in sherry glass and made to sip, as it’s not served with ice.
Baby’s First Curry
Tropical and complex; shaken with Maggie’s Farm dark rum, Batavia- Arrack van Oosten (sweet Dutch spirit from Java), Curry Syrup, Aquafaba, Pineapple, Lime and Wigle Molé Bitters.
LAN Party
Insanely inventive and bold; made with Herradura Reposado Tequila, Cool Ranch Doritos, Pizza Roll Syrup, Mountain Dew Code Red Bitters and Lime.
