The Perfect Proven is the cocktail recipe that earned Allison Widdecombe of Denver’s Williams & Graham, the Woodford Reserve’s best Manhattan of 2015.
- 2 oz Woodford Reserve
- 0.5 oz Oolong Tea-Infused Ruby Port
- 0.5 oz Cardamom-Infused Amèr Nouvelle
- 0.5 bar spoon of Fernet Branca
Combine ingredients over ice in mixing glass and stir. Strain them into a cocktail glass, and garnish with an expressed lemon twist.
About the Perfect Proven
Widdecombe said that her original recipe was a twist on the classic, with alternative ingredients that replicate the classic Manhattan’s blend of sweet, dry, bitter, and bourbon-forward flavors.
