Seaport Food Lab Remixed Mixes It Up with Top Bartenders and Chefs Mark Ladner & Wylie Dufresne

New York City’s Seaport Food Lab returns to serve up some of our favorite big name Bartenders along with Chefs Mark Ladner and Wylie Dufresne. The 2019 Seaport Food Lab Remixed kicks off October 23rd – November 23rd with an seriously all-star lineup including Aaron Polsky (formerly Harvard & Stone, LA), Mike Capoferri (Thunderbolt, LA), Ezra Star (Drink, Boston), Chuck Rivera (Junglebird, San Juan) and Ivy Mix (Leyenda, Brooklyn).  This year’s five week program will take place at R17, located on The Rooftop at Pier 17, in NYC’s iconic South Street Seaport area.

This is the first time that the Food Lab Remixed series is putting the focus on the Bartender and they brought on some heavy-hitting NYC Chefs to support each mixologist’s menu with collaborative culinary dishes.  having iconic NYC chefs Mark Ladner, former executive chef of fine-dining restaurant Del Posto, and Wylie Dufresne of former landmark modernist restaurant wd~50 and the imaginative Du’s Donuts & Coffee in Brooklyn. Each experience will be 6:30pm – 8:30pm with tickets priced at $150 (tax + gratuity included) and are available now HERE but, seriously hurry, because they are selling out fast!

We asked Andrew Shahadi, VP of Strategic Partnerships at Howard Hughes Corporation about this all-star bartender line-up and he explained, “We chose our lineup of bartenders because they are the best at what they do. We looked at a number of different factors when vetting these individuals, including relevance, award history, what made them stand out/ unique, and of course location. We wanted fans of Seaport Food Lab to be able to experience mixology from all over the United States, which is why this year’s lineup is represented from talent in Los Angeles, Boston and Puerto Rico, and of course NYC. In addition, we have Wylie Dufresne and Mark Ladner, two seasoned chefs, creating specialized food menus to pair with our mixologists cocktails, and it was important for us to find mixologists whose styles were versatile enough to create unique pairings for a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.”
