One of Miami’s best bars, The Regent Cocktail Club, has relaunched after moving into the larger, former Rec Room space inside the Gale South Beach hotel. The Regent’s cocktail menu was also revamped by the renowned Bar Lab mixologists. Getting to the trendsetting bar and lounge’s new location is a speakeasy-like experience. You now enter through Dolce Italian restaurant’s entrance, then, head downstairs, behind the host stand, and follow the neon signage.
The expansive new, dark and sultry cocktail lounge, inspired by warm Havana nights, retains the original’s sense of intimacy. But now, the Regent serves up a live music lineup through the weekend, featuring local artists and DJs, and a menu of bar bites. Bites include Cheese or Yucca Croquettes with fig jam, Chicken Empanadas and Beef Empanadas, which are delish complements to their classic cocktails made with a new shaken, not stirred approach.

Champiña
Delightfully sweet and foamy; shaken with Grey Goose Vodka, Vanilla-infused Chinola Passionfruit Liqueur, Lime Juice, Egg White, then, topped with Champagne, and charred Pineapple for garnish.
Guava Paloma
Tart, yet slightly sweet, and with a spicy kick; shaken with Patron Reposado Tequila, Pink Guava, Habañero Shrub, Lime Juice and Grapefruit Soda, then, topped with dehydrated Grapefruit slices for garnish.
Raspao Margarita
The smoky version also has a unique floral and buttery flavor; shaken with Ilegal Mezcal, Jasmine Rice and Citrus, then, poured on the rocks with a toasted Jasmine Rice rim.
Coco-Chi Chi Daiquiri
A tropical twist to a classic; shaken with Coconut-washed Facundo Neo Silver Rum, Lychee, lime juice and orange bitters.
Green Peach
This shareable, large-format cocktail is also available by the glass; Absolut Elyx, Pêche De Vigne, green tea, cucumber, citrus, topped with Fever Tree soda.
