Since we are finally getting some quality seasonal fruit here in N.Y., play around and experiment with some of your favorite fruit to put your own personal spin on these cocktails. And hey, it’s fruit so its basically like vitamins in a glass. So toast it up to a short work week!
FRENCH SANGRIA
Ingredients:
1 Bottle Lillette Rosé Wine
- 3 oz. Grand Marnier
- 5 oz. club soda
- 2 oz. Fresh Raspberries
- 1 Sprig Mint
- Edible Flower Petals for Garnish
Directions: Pour each of the above into a tall bar glass. Shake with ice, pour into a cocktail or martini glass, and serve.
ORGANIC WATERMELON MOJITOS
Ingredients:
- 1c Organic Watermelon Cubes
- 10 Fresh Mint Leaves
- 1/2 Lime (juiced)
- 2T Organic Sugar
- 2oz White Rum
- Ice
Directions: In your cocktail shaker, muddle mint leaves and sugar until leaves are broken up into very small pieces. Add in limejuice and watermelon and muddle some more to break up the watermelon. Fill shaker up with ice and add rum or vodka.
Shake your mojito and pour into a glass. Garnish with watermelon slice and fresh mint sprig.
