As summer continues, we are really digging on berries. And the Strawberry Field at Black Barn – created by Beverage Director Jay Akin – nails it, with a delicious concoction of muddled strawberry, Botanist gin, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. It’s refreshing and light but boozy – trust us, try one.
Strawberry Field Ingredients and Recipe
- 1 strawberry, muddled
- 2 oz. Botanist gin
- 1 oz. Fresh lemon juice
- .75 oz Simple syrup
Muddle strawberry with simple syrup in a mixing glass. Add remaining ingredients with ice. Stir and strain over a big ice cube. Garnish with dried lemon chip.
