As the coronavirus pandemic continues to intensify and cities across the country hunker down, Many New York City restaurants and bars have gone dark. But temporary changes in New York’s liquor laws gave restaurants and bars the go-ahead to sell alcohol as part of their takeout and delivery menus, as long as they sell food with the orders and delivery personnel have the establishment’s liquor license on hand.
Here are some of the places selling cocktails for delivery. Remember to tip well, and if possible, call the restaurant or bar before using a wine delivery platform such as Seamless, which comes with hefty fees for consumers and restaurants.
American Brass
American Brass is making eight different summery cocktails for delivery, like the Golden Touch, made from mezcal, spicy honey, and tumermic, or the Porch Swing, which has bourbon peach, and chamomile. The cocktails go for about $10 each or in $32 party packs. American Brass is also serving a limited food menu for takeout and delivery. Use promo code ABLIC20 for 20 percent off food items.

Catch island-vibes to-go in Astoria, Queens..
