Watching the show, we noticed that elit Vodka plays a prominent role in Billions so we chatted with Lauren Ryan, Senior Brand Manager for Stoli Group USA to learn more.
How does Billions fit with the elit Vodka brand?
“elit fits perfectly into the fast-paced Billions lifestyle and luxury bar scene,” offered Ryan. “In addition to the Wall Street setting, the precision of the characters’ moves really aligns with our production approach. We’re proud that our ‘liquid asset’ is joining the portfolio.”
What about New York City makes it an amazing backdrop for the elit Vodka and Billions experience?
“Fans of Billions, which films here in New York, want to experience the bon vivant lives of their favorite characters,” Ryan explains. “When creating the elit ‘Billions Weekend’, our goal was to recreate that aspirational Billions lifestyle even if just one weekend.”
Where are some NYC spots that you think the Billions characters would be drinking elit Martinis?
“Love this question!” exclaims Ryan. “The show is a bit of an epicurean journey. With the characters dining out in nearly every scene, there’s no need to imagine where they might be enjoying cocktails like an elit martini. Throughout both seasons we saw them dining at New York institutions like Babbo, Hunt & Fish Club, Peter Luger, Maialiano and, one of my favorites, Gold Bar.”
